Why choose XPS plates?
XPS sheets are great for insulating damp areas, such as a bathroom.
Because of its higher cell density, XPS is heavier than EPS and usually available in higher compressive strengths.
Like EPS, these insulation boards are made of polystyrene, but the difference is in the manufacturing process. XPS is extruded, which means the polystyrene is liquefied and pressed through an orifice under high pressure (=extruding)
